The Calciomania 93 girls play in the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL) and are waitlisted for the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS). The team participates in year-round training, including summer, fall, winter and spring outdoor practice in Reston as well as in winter indoor leagues at the Dulles Sportsplex. All team members are automatically eligible for training and tournament play in Italy every summer and review by talent scouts from professional Italian clubs.
Girls born on or after 8/1/1993 are eligible to try out. The team currently has only 2 spots available.

The Calciomania 93 girls have already started fundraising to bring the team to Italy in June 2009 for a 2 week-trip that includes free training camp for 5 days near Florence, tournament play in Montecatini Terme in Tuscany, friendly matches at the beach in the Italian Adriatic resort town of San Benedetto del Tronto, and one or two days sighseeing in bella Bologna.
There are a few guest player spots for the Soccer in Italy 2009 tour for non-Cugini members. Tryouts for guest player spots begin November 1 in Reston. Team Officials:
Parents must read the downloadable Travel Team Registration Manual, review the Cugini website, and ask Cugini officials questions BEFORE registering their daughter for a Cugini travel team team as they are committing to a year-round program and full payment of a set annual tuition plus uniform fees.
